still Sanji and Zoro are different type of fighters. one is fighter that uses CoO and mind more than raw power.
Zoro is about raw power and CoA so more about the body.
Sanji can avoid better . Zoro can tank better.
Sanji can hit more accurate , Zoro can hit more severe.

I don’t disagree with any of that accept the accuracy thing. It’s not like we are ever seeing Zoro miss anybody. You’re right in that Sanji is more speed and Zoro is strength, but my point with how Oda goes about pitting them against similar opponents is that Zoro when he’s not nerfed is still a significantly stronger combatant. Sanji’s advantages over Zoro do not equal them out.

No. Oda wouldn’t let Zoro have free shot at Queen… The man uses a sword… Giving him free shots can end fights way too fast
this entire argument doesn’t work because Zoro is a combat genius, same way Sanji is a combat genius, same way Luffy is a combat genius
Because Oda isn’t actually good at making proper distinctions regarding how good anybody is at what exactly. He can make a distinction in power set and fighting style but aside from that, you can’t say Zoro has ever been outsmarted in a fight. Sanji has never been outpowered in a fight. Luffy who is dumb also has never been outsmarted in a fight.
Like all three of these guys pull out random power ups and out muscle their opponents and all of them also find creative ways of using their powers
maybe you don’t notice this because Luffy has more fights than anyone followed by Zoro then Sanji. And Sanji has more gags in his fights followed by Luffy then Zoro. And Zoro’s fights are the shortest followed by Sanji then Luffy. It’s hard to actually sparse out the fact that ALL THREE of these guys actually fight relatively the same
