usually i don't have a problem with editors overhyping some stuff, that's basically their job as oda's ultimate army of yes men.

but when oda himself fake hype some plot lines promising us some fulfilling pay offs, i just have to call it scam

since zoo, oda lied about the reason that kaido killed oden and is currently chasing after the red scabbards was to get information about raftel.

he even followed up on that in wano, when kaido told orochi to not kill the scabbards because he wants to ask them about some "important shit"

oden's flashback was such a garbage wank fest, after oden came back from his shitty grand adventure kaido allowed him to live in wano for 5 years and never asked him a single question about the one piece treasure or his journey with roger.
why didn't oden trade information about the one piece in return for wano's freedom? why didn't kaido proposed the same offer? i know that kaido is staying in wano for a reason, but isn't wano just a milestone to obtain the one piece?
sadly kaido falls victime t the power of PIS, the scabbards traveled through time and he remained with nothing but his cock to grab on.

turned out that all kaido wanted to know was momonuske's name :whitepress:
the mf could've asked anybody in wano and he would get the answer, what a stupid piece of s**t

You forgot the part where Kaido mentioned 'Joyboy' which implied he got the information or something close to it already.

Either way the arc is not over and obviously Oda will reveal more than the joyboy hint..
wano is not over, but the kaido and the scabberds plot line is.

oda lied to us in zoo arc, and once again in wano, the scabbards said that kaido was trying to pray information out of them, which he never did, he said that he wanted to ask the scabbards something and he never did.

what i have issues with is that kaido's interest in the one piece could've been over with in the oden flashback, if kaido wanted the one piece the best course of action was to ask the man that actually saw it, and it's not that kaido didn't have a leverage over oden, he could've offered to leave wano in exchange for information, instead he he just settled for oden dancing once a week for five years in the capital.

Kaido: why become the king of pirates when you can just enjoy watching a man dancing naked for five years.
that's why the five year dancing plot was so not needed and just pure garbage.

and when kaido talked about roger he only talked about how he was a kindhearted pirate, wtf? it goes completely against of what garp said about roger, and how he was a demon to anyone that would endanger his people.

no matter how you look at it, it was the most retarded plot lines in the series.

A Oda se le salio de las manos todo esto, no sabe que carajos hacer
i had to translate that, but i agree.

I guess regarding the One Piece notion it's about Oda's framework to push the agenda of Luffy ultimately being the one to find the treasure and so he could not allow someone else to get their hands on it.
