Now that Kaido is out or permanently defeated, the condition Oda set for the Hassaikai to gain legendary status has been fulfilled, which means that Kaido’s weapon is, at this very moment, a LEGEND—or at the very least, it will be treated as such in the world of One Piece if it ever reappears in someone else’s hands or is displayed as a relic.

The Hassaikai, his club, doesn't have any special status like a meitou (famous sword), but through Kaido's strength, reputation, and feats with it — defeating countless opponents and performing insane acts — it gained legendary status by association.

💥 He turned a weapon with nothing special on its own into a legendary one :

• No historical name
• No famous blacksmith
• No hidden abilities or magical powers


All the club has... is the weight of the history Kaido wrote with it:


• He knocked out Luffy with a single blow
• He fought Big Mom for days with it
• Defeated Oden with one strike
• Killed Luffy
• Wielded a club since childhood
• Withstood multiple attacks from insanely powerful characters and always using this weapon


This shows that Kaido himself is the legend, and that the weapon was "sanctified" just by being in his hands.

calling a kaido a legend isn't special either, this was just your opportunity to glaze kaido for glazing sake under the façade of a semi legitimate post. "sanctified" yeah right, only reason it would be sanctified is because it's associated with luffy's legend of taking down kaido and rivalling ryuumas heroism.

If we wanna talk REAL legendary weapons, why not talk about Ragnir? you know the hammer with a literal lightning enchantment on it?, that when loki wielded after being weakned for 6 years in seastone, made an impact that dwarfed anything we saw kaido do with his kanabo including his ultimate flame dragon attack.
