I was looking for a way to Oda to not give fulfill Kaido's dream of a glorious death
First way : Killing him two people comes either Kid or Zoro
Two issues : I don't think someone will outshine Luffy.
Even WB didn't rescue Ace. Oda give it to Luffy.
WB was a cheerleader for Luffy
People achieve to really shine in MF only when Luffy was K-O.
(WB defeat Akainu and BB, Shanks come, BB, Sengoku and so on)
So I tought about a villain : And who is better than BM for this
An old mate of Kaido.
Their Old crew is known to kill each other, they are rivals
It could be an unique opportunity for BM
But last chapter let me doubtful
Also Kaido's dream is to have a glorious death so I don't think Oda will give to him.
So I thought about jail :
Obviously traditionnal joke won't work because they never worked against him.

But we have a character on Wa no who have the perfect DF for that
And it's Cariboo
It also explain why we didn' t see him for a while

Cariboo can put in his body gigantic people like Shiraoshi, so size isn't an issue.
Cariboo and Luffy were incarcerate by Kaido so it will be a great parralel
Kaido can't escape as Cariboo's body seems to work like an other world
If it's not enough using Kairoseki and this world should be enough.
Even BM can't escape Kairoseki so if you add this world it should be enough.

It seems difficult to me that the alliance will place the trust that Kaido will never return into this guy


Also if I'm not wrong in Fishman Island when Luffy Zoro and Sanji KOed Caribou, by the moment he fainted all the jewerlies that were stored in him came out so that doesn't seem like the safest solution to me

Zoro claimed he shall cut up Kaido by actually beheading him and Zoro is a man of honor , no way around it for now. Oda is pretty favorable in this circumstance from the actual look of it, if we go by portrayal of course.

Furthermore, having a yonko to rot in Impel Down would allegedly cause a global war I bet. :)

Regardless, the moment everyone remembers from Thriller Bark remains the same, it's the "Nothing happened".
Not the Moriah fight, not the Oars fight, but "Nothing happened".
A moment that big was given to someone who isn't Luffy.
So I don't buy this "Luffy can't be outshined" argument.

People dont outshine luffy as still he's conscious.
Luffy he's the one who achieve the goal.
MF rescue Ace >> Luffy
Thriller Bark defeat Oars and Moria>>Luffy
And so on

Zoro never said he will behead Kaido, don't know where did you read this.
No one talked about ID where did you read this ?
