Speculations Kaidou MIGHT have seriously died

#1
Never expected the possibility of me considering the idea of someone actually dying in One Piece, but, thematically, it would definitely fit.
To put this into perspective, in the fight between Kaidou and Luffy, Oda retconned Luffy into a Diespiter archetype, all so he could have his own spin at a Chaoskampf, Chaoskampf, being struggle against chaos, it’s a story spanning several Continents and Cultures about a Storm/Wind Diety, defeating a serpentine-like creature (so a dragon), if you ever heard of names like Zeus, Indra, YHVH, Thor, Susanoo and Typhoon, Naga, Satan, Jormungandr, Yamata no Orochi, you’re indirectly familiar with Chaoskampf, there are also many other Entities like them, just said the ones I remember. It means struggle against chaos, chaos in this case, referenced by Kaidou’s idea of paradise, where he wanted a paradise for pirates, had his Onigashima project succeeded, he would have created an anarchist Country that was ruled by pure strength, Luffy, brought order, Oda even had him take a fucking lightning bolt in his hands like he was Zeus or something, and with it, restored Wano, before Orochi and Kaidou destroyed it.
Here’s where things get good, no Admiral wank here, I promise, I’ll definitely have many more occasions for that:goyea::steef:, basically, Oda has shown great interest in Greek mythology, the important Ancient Weapons, BM’s homies and so on, SO! In one of the stories, Zeus was struggling to defeat the mighty Typhoon, but, after a long battle, Zeus won and killed Typhoon, with the final blow being him pushing him inside the Neapolitan Mount Vesuvius, a famous volcano, there, Typhoon was paralyzed, and finally succumbed to his death.
The similarities are here, did our friend Kaidou kick the bucket? :josad:

If he is really dead then its going to be the most underwhilmed death in manga history..
He wanted the opposite. He wanted a glorious death for which he created the circumstances that lead to it. Luffy broke his dream, sent him to his resting place. This is the perfect way how he should have died, far from the glorious he wanted. Had you ever read One Piece seriously, you'd know how symbolic the death or rather DEFEAT it is.

But I hope not.
That was the lamest death you can give to WSC.....
Think about lame it is for BM :feelscryingman:

Luffy was never portrayed as Zeus. Only holding lighting or having a move called Thor isn't enough parallel with Zeus.

Luffy is a God of his own. Sun God Nika.

The strongest parallel at One Piece are not real world culture and mythology but One Piece World culture and mythology. So Ryuuma and Dragon being parallel with Zoro and Kaido are much stronger evidence than that.

He got lame death because he wish for awesome death.
Oda always make Luffy's to destroy his enemies dreams.

Not really....Earlier oda made the narrative and it made us believe Kaido is trying to kill himself....but we got to know it was all BS.

Crydo still wished for awesome death lol
He even said he was willing to let the scabbards to kill him but they were too weak 🤭
The fact he feared death is only natural

He is not Dead
Actually the Villains that Luffy send flying away come back even Better

Buggy was sent flying by Luffy ---> Returned with an Alliance, entered Grand Line & look at him now
Wapol was sent flying by Luffy ---> Returned as one of Levely Kings & super rich thanks to his New Business
Enel was sent flying by Luffy ---> Returned couple Chapters later to fulfill his Dream of ruling The Moon & found Perfect Army for him
Lucci was sent flying by Luffy ---> Returned with Promotion as Commander In Chief of CP-0 & obviously Stronger

These Villains were hit so hard, they went flying & fell outside the Island, and they are among Villains who weren't Captured
And they returned better than ever (Caesar might be the Next One in this current Cover Story)

So start counting for the return of Worororo

Kaido–and I can't believe that I'm saying it–is most likely dead. I find it hard to believe that a character as powerful as Kaido will just be out there doing nothing, or even worse, becoming Luffy's fanby because he's JoyBoy that Kaido was waiting for and he is the only one who managed to defeat him. There's no place for Kaido in the future arcs and overall plot, you can make that argument with Big Mom due to Elbaf plot and so forth... but not Kaido!!!

It’s true that Luffy (well Nika) is a Sun God, but that is also part of the Diespiter kit, take Sun God Ra, for example, not only that, Zeus himself has associations with the sun, it’s more obvious in something like Dark Souls, where Gwyn plays like an expy of him, and his powers are solar related, but basically, Zeus was considered a Sun God in Crete, while in the general mythology, after defeating his father, Zeus took control of the sky, which had the Sun in it, and later on, fathered Apollo, the God of the Sun.
Lightning was also not seen in the same lenses we see it today, it was consideredas the fire used by the Gods, with Zeus being the top dog in all things Light-related, especially after subjugating Hyperion.
Thor and Zeus have distinctive personalities, just like Luffy, but thanks for bringing that move up, I actually forgot, while Thor was portrayed as stupid, he still was the nordic Diespiter archetype, with Odin taking more the mindset related thing.

Oda will never portrait luffy as a murder, that's why he made kaido and Big mom dieing off screen by magma

that or oda just foreshadowing Akainu beating 2 yonko :madmonk:
