What is the point of this? We already saw that Sanji will never hit a woman back in Enies Lobby. Oda is literally repeating the same plot point in the exact same way.

Sanji refuses to fight a woman, Sanji then gets beaten up, then someone saves him.

The only difference is that this time instead of Nami saving Sanji it’s gonna be Robin. This is just pure trash because we already know what’s gonna happen because we already saw it happen before.

I think Oda is just showcasing this part of Sanji again for affirmation after his "block" to big mom's attack in WCI
Oda seems to love it, so I'm okay with it as long as he gets his 1vs1 fight after this characterization moment

Oda's been reusing plots since forever how is that a surprise?

This is already different from Enies Lobby, they are not the same situations. Only thing thats similar is that Sanji cant hit women

If he uses COC to free himself defeating the ladies, almost impossible, then it's not going to be bad writing or a waste. In any other case, it was a trash choice.
There were tens of better ways to hold Sanji down (e.g. let him encounter Hiyori/Toki directly , actually save her and then find the scabbards teleported by Law down the tower)
