It took Luffy/Zoro a week to wake up.
we have 4 concrete days from Greenbull leaving Wano to Egghead.
Twice during this time period Oda hit us with “days later” 2x times from Post-Greenbull and again when we see the Strawhats outside Egghead.
Assuming “days later” is 2/3 days a piece, it has been 15 to 17 days since Kaido & Linlin were defeated.
So if Pudding was captured during the raid, it’s been a long time since she was taken and we still don’t see the BMP doing shit.

He knows it's suicide to take on Blackbeard, Kuzan, Shiryu, and a whole bunch of level 6 ID prisoners while his core crew is so obviously still recovering from the loss of Big Mom and her flags influence, Cracker extra injured, Kata potentially still being injured if Ling and Queen were after so long, and having a whole kingdom to govern along with the ponyglyph to keep safe
The only people calling Katakuri a coward are fools with pawn thinking. In chess the pawns go and die first. Kata is a mastermind he knows the best play. It should be common sense to not recklessly attack an admiral and emperor on their own turf while not at full strength or preperations yourself. The BMP crew is large and we already know Smoothie is out somewhere on a mission.
