Powers & Abilities Kata will get BM’s weapons

Now that BM is dethroned, imo Katakuri will get her weapons: Prometheus, Napoleon, and Hera.

This will give him a significant power boost, helping him to fill his mother’s shoes as captain of the BMP.

I see him turning Napoleon into a Trident, as we know it can shapeshift. In addition I see Katakuri’s version of Misery being male and looking like Katakuri, rather than BM.

Ultimately, combined with his Mochi DF and powerful haki, I see BM’s homies making Katakuri extremely powerful, allowing him to defend his family.

In all seriousness, the homies are part of Big Mom's soul. They die when she dies. If the homies are still there that means Big Mom is still alive.

Even if she’s alive, she’s no longer captain of the BMP. If she was, she wouldn’t have lost her yonko status.

Yes, looking back Perospero was talking about wanting to takeover as captain, but Daifuku stated the "strongest" should be the captain.


Katakuri is clearly the strongest with Big Mom out of the picture. Unless there's a secret sibling among them who is stronger, I don't see anyone else being captain.

1. Big Mom's homies are either gone or they are still back in Wano.

2. Katakuri is still at Totto Land, he isn't going to go all the way to Wano to get Big Mom's homies.

3. Even if Katakuri becomes the new captain, that doesn't mean he can use the homies. He can maybe give them orders like to attack but that's it, also Napoleon can't shapeshift into a trident because a trident isn't a sword and Napoleon can't just shapeshift into anything.

The homies were with her the whole time during the raid, they weren't just wondering around by themselves doing nothing.

But her attacks were weak when she used them. Her sword doesn't cut, the fire doesn't burn and the thunder also didn't do much damage.
Her haki punches were much more efficient.

You do need it in order to change its shape and give life to their combined attack which is what OP implied
