Top tier X vs High tier Y = X low diff Y.
literally every attack Fuji shown on panel is useless against Katakuri mochi body. He will need to step outside his comfort zone and actually fight Katakuri in CQC which will increase the difficulty of the fight by a decent margin.

Why are people obsessed with Fujitora's bruise and bandage ? were admirals stated to have Kaido-BM level durability ?
i'm one of the people who think Katakuri can give him a very good fight here, but it's hella pathetic to keep talking about Fujitora's bruise as if it's some unforgivable sin for a top tier. admirals aren't known for their extraordinary durability, they are known for having massive attack power. and Fujitora's showings in that department are some of the greatest in the series.
Some upplay other top tier's standout feats in one category ( durability ) but only focus on Fuji’s worst feat in a category he isn't even the best at, and then they misinterpret that feat to top everything off. but Fujitora was never really known for being a natural born destroyer i.e no one can actually hurt him. heck Katakuri was bleeding from a simple kick from base Luffy but here am i giving Fujitora a hard win over him thanks to other attributes Katakuri has. durability is just one attribute, and Fujitora has some other crazy shit to back himself up.
and Fujitora did not go all-out yet. you don't get to call other people simple minded because they use portrayal when the characters feats are casual so far.

What attack did Fuji show that can actually hurt katakiri body so far
Fuji will need better attacks than raging tiger or dropping meteors
In a close combat... FUJI IS getting hit badly by Katakuri punches
Kata has better haki speed than Fuji too
Fuji wins after a very high diff efforts

Akainu as a Logia, seems to be able to pretty much produce infinite magma with no consequences.
Fujitora’s Devil Fruit tho, does put a strain on him.
Not saying it matters that much here, Katakuri still wouldn’t be pushing Fuji past mid/high diff as Fuji’s casual attacks are >>>>>> a kick from base Luffy which is too much for Kata’s peon durability, and Fuji’s CoO is easily enough to counter Kuri’s overrated FS.
