Ships that approach the burned man are sunk by whirlpools. As we know, fishman can produce whirlpools. This means that the burned man must have fishmen on his crew.

This makes a lot of sense. As we know, the 4th road poneglyph was originally in fishman island.

At the moment, both Kid and Law seem to be dying at sea. They were seriously injured by the yonko. While Kid's injuries seem to be worst, as he isn't even conscious, Bepo was extremely worried about Law, telling him not to die, suggesting that Law's injuries are still very severe. Their ships were also both sunk and while Bepo, as a polar bear, is likely an extremely strong swimmer, I doubt he has the strength to swim from island to island. Especially since he took damage against the BBP.

My guess is whomever these fishman are, they will pick up Kid and Law, and that will kinda be how Oda will keep these two relevant. By tying their arc to the burned man.

My guess is that the burned man teaches them some sort of advanced haki, and they return as Elbaf as allies to help Luffy become Pirate King. With Law beating Shiryu(Zoro takes Mihawk) and Kid beating Beckman.

Why is everyone assuming those Whirlpools are Fishmen's Doing?
You think Whirlpool connected to Ennies Lobby & Marineford was caused by a Fishman?

Luffy's Adventure started with a Whirlpool, it basically kickstarted his Dream
And do you know what He said when He saw Whirlpool that would lead them to Skypiea?

People remember Arlong Pirates Explanation regarding Whirlpools but you completely missed the point, Chew said that Strong Currents are required to cause such Whirlpools, so instead of someone moving Sea Objects to cause them, it would be much easier if Someone can actually control Sea Currents & what can naturally do that? Man With Burn Scar is related to Moon Phases (Probably has an Eye-Patch which is Reference to Pirates switching Places on Ship)
His Ability gives him access to Whirlpools which are related to Controlling Dreams

Nika has Power of Imagination because Sun God was to this Villain, what Nightmare Luffy was for Moria
In other words, Moria controlled Shadows (Which He used to create Three Types of Zombie Army) thanks to Hogback's Help
And Luffy by also consuming Shadows became Nightmare Luffy & helped stop Oars/Moria

I think the fact that the 4th poneglyph was on fishman island when Roger found it makes me think that at the very least, the burned man has fishmen on his crew that do the whirlpools.

Kid is a good guy in the context of the story. He’s basically like Luffy in that his crew are his friends.

It’s just that he kills people who laugh at him and crushes weaklings.

But all in all, his code is much better than that of say Blackbeard, who literally murdered his father and stole his powers.

Yeah but the poneglyph was originally from fishman island, so its probably that. Especially since we've never seen a DF that can control sea water in any way, at least not in canon(I'm aware Shiki did something like that in the movie).

We saw him crucify people just passing by, begging him to le them go and he laughed while saying they are weak...
We never saw him help people in need like the SHs or even Law.
