General & Others Kid and Law will be the ones to defeat Imu

#1
As i've posted recently several times, Luffy being the sun god necessitates that Teach be his final antagonist. Teach is the darkness and the symbolism is simply too strong for him to be just another stepping stone for Luffy.

So if Luffy fights teach in the final war, what about Imu? Well Oda has a habit of giving the rival captains the 2nd most relevant fight of the arc.
  • Law vs Vergo in punk hazard
  • Law gamma knifed doffy in dressrosa
  • Kid and Law vs Big Mom in wano
So if Luffy fights Teach, imo it only makes sense for Kid and Law to fight Imu. However that isn't my only reason. I think there's been a lot of build up specifically for Law to be a major player in the downfall of Imu.

Law is a D and he's the only D apart from Luffy who we really follow through the series. More than that he has the ope ope no mi and in dressrosa, Doffy made an intriguing statement about the ope ope no mi.

In chapter 761, doffy reveals that mariejois has a treasure and that the existence of this treasure would shake the world to its core. Doffy then goes to say that if he had the ope ope no mi, he would have been able to use the treasure to control the world. After which he talks about how valuable the ope ope no mi is especially because it can grant immortality.

Then in chapter 906 we hear about this treasure again. In the final page of the chapter, we see Imu visit the giant straw hat while Doffy talks about how the WG wants an assassin to kill him so he doesn't reveal the treasure. Imo this is a clear indication that the treasure Doffy was talking about is Imu. The WG is supposedly an oligarchical republic where the 5 gorosei supposedly control the world. There is not supposed to be a king of the WG. However there is, that being Imu. Therefore the existence of Imu would shake the world to its core. I don't see how the hat could possibly be more relevant.

Anyways, I believe that Imu has immortality and that the ope ope no mi both gave him this power and has the ability to undo it. Which is why Law, along with Kid(because Oda always pairs them up), will be the ones to bring him down.

Nope, Akainu for Sabo.

Goroseis for Law and Kidd.

Imi for Luffy.
What sabo say declare war on ? He say he want to declare war on celestial dragons not marines.
‘Revolution true enemy is not even world government but celestial dragons controls the government

Is Akainu celestial dragon ? No he is marine guy.

Saying sabo will fight akainu is like saying shyrui kill milhawk theory or zoro can’t fight kaido before rooftop battle

Roger's greatest rival was said to be Xebec. Not anybody from the WG. In god valley, Roger saw Xebec as such a big threat that he teamed up with Garp to protect the celestial dragons and fight him.

This is the same thing. Teach is going to be the biggest threat to the world since Xebec. Which is why Luffy must fight him and not Imu.

Portrayal wise and symbolically, Teach has to be Luffy's greatest rival. Luffy is profoundly overpowered. He has mastered haki and has a legendary DF. The only other character who matches that hype is Teach, who has the most evil DF(yami yami) and is capable of eating more than one DF.

Furthermore, as I said. If luffy is supposed to represent the dawn and be the second sun god, it makes no sense for his final enemy to be anybody but Teach, who represents darkness.

You might say Luffy needs to beat Imu because Will of D, but Law has always cared more about the Will of D than Luffy(who honestly might not even know what it is).

Isn't Marine a World Government public face?(Subordinate) and Zoro can't Fight Kaidou alone even before AdvCoC.

Akainu is the Boss under Kong, Under Gorosei and under Imu, Right?

Dragon will face a Kong.

Sabo will face Akainu.

Admirals isn't Direct subordinate of Celestial Dragons?

Law will fight the leader of CP0, Kid the leader of SSG.

Neither will fight anyone in the BB arc.
the fuck they will

Kid and Law are the leaders of the next gen along with Luffy. They defeated an emperor in wano kuni, Oda isn't going to make their main fights in the final war against people who are irrelevant.

imo Akainu, imu, and blackbeard will all be defeated in the final war.
  • Luffy vs Teach
  • Sabo vs Akainu
  • Kid/Law vs Imu
Oda basically confirmed that post wano one piece is EoS so there's no chance those 3 are each getting separate arcs.

Hardly any way Oda is taking this away from Luffy and maybe Zoro.
This is the exact same argument people made for big mom and look what happened.

The fact is, post wano one piece is EoS. Luffy already has almost all the power ups he could rationally get. So does Zoro. All that's left is for Luffy to master awakening and for zoro to get a black blade. It makes no sense if they fight multiple big bads.

Which is why the SHs will only fight the BBP while sabo, kid, and law deal with the other big bads.

if Kid and Law vs Big Mom proved anything its that Oda isn't going to give Luffy all of the villains. Amongst Imu, BB, and Akainu, BB is the greatest threat. He will be the one Luffy fights.

I can see Kid fighting the SSG if it's related to Vegapunk since there might be a connection but why would Law fight CP0? if anything this arc has shown us Oda had way different plans for Law than fighting CP0 like many thought
It’s because law is one of the characters whos dream and backstory revolve around the Celestail Dragons. And the main protectors of the celestial dragons, his dream directly ends up flashing with CP0 missions
