He did it again. What the fuck? He did it again.

same thing that happened in Udon. Right when Luffy was gonna start learning Ryuo to Damage Kaido, Fuckin Oda removed Kid from the vicinity specifically so that Kid would NOT learn Ryuo.

And Once again, Right when Zoro and Luffy are pulling out Advanced CoC to damage Kaido, Kid is removed to make sure he DOES NOT learn this ability.


What the fuck is Oda’s problem with Kid? This is so fuckin weird.

I’m not even a Kid fan. In fact a lot of people think I’m a kid hater which I’m not. But even I am getting tired of this ridiculous artificial plot contrivance shit that is sidelining Kid so hard.

Okay okay okay, let’s calm down. Maybe MAYBE Oda is setting up awakening for Kid. Clearly Oda is making sure Kid is not improving his haki so maybe Oda is doing this to balance it out. Kid happens to disappear every time new haki stuff is introduced so that Kid gets a DF awakening power up instead.

I think Oda is setting him up as someone who is DF reliant tbh. I expect DF awakening in the near future for him. But yeah like you said, it is definitely weird that Oda seems to pull Kidd away whenever Luffy is about to learn a new haki trick. Could just be he wants Kidd to have a different journey than Luffy and not get all the same power ups and buffs. Or it could just be that he hates Kidd lol. But if he truly hated Kidd, I don’t believe he would have given Kidd CoC in the first place.

This is not an important character for the advancement of the story, it was not planned from the base, the supernovas were not in Oda's plans. It is therefore normal that the leash since it is not important

Kid highest hopes are to get the same treatment of Law, don't get your hopes too high. In the end he will get something in between what your regular supernova get each arc (Capone, Drake, Apoo etc. Etc.) and what Law get. To be honest he is already getting a lot of space, wouldn't have expected Oda to give him so much.

Oh, probably he will land something similair to Law's gamma knife powerwise (but in the end you say yourself Oda gave it 2 or 3 panels at best between Zoro and Luffy magnificence so don't expect too much).

Won't lie. I was surprised Oda had Kid leave Kaido to the other Supernova due to his beef with the guy but at the same time I think it showed his maturity and how he trusts the other Supernova a whole lot more than the members of his previous alliance. Regarding the 'Kid being absent whenever a significant chance for him to get stronger presents itself,' man, you're pretty right. Kinda sad.

Atleast in his battle against Big Mom with Killer's assistance, it seems he'll show a bit more since he's not done but it's still a shame he never did significant damage against Kaido. He simply suplexed him once. I hope Kid displays something interesting and impressive against Big Mom because his performance has been getting better as the fight continues (like when he helped separate the Yonko).
