Character Discussion Kid is going to join Cross Guild

Kid isn’t dead. While the Kid pirates have been destroyed, without actual confirmation of his death, there is a zero percent chance Oda killed him off.

However, with his crew destroyed, I think there’s a very high chance he will join Cross Guild.

CG seems like a way for Oda to still keep characters relevant even if their main role in the story is over. So I feel like worst case with Kid, he joins CG and is about as relevant as Crocodile.

in joining CG, it would cement CG as the strongest pirate crew, basically the Rocks pirates 2.0. This would make Buggy one of the greatest pirates of all time, surpassing the old guard yonko in infamy.

Also regarding his rivalry with Luffy, all of Roger’s biggest rivals were former Rocks pirates. So I feel like it would be a nice parallel.

Anyways, that’s the theory.

Cross guild has nothing to do with Kid. Not even same motive. In fact mihawk and Crocodile might even kill kid if he's in sight to them.

Kid joins because he has nowhere else to go. Cross guild is more of an alliance than a real crew so if he joins, he won’t really need to submit to someone, like he would with Blackbeard or Luffy

Its the attitude problem which Does suit Cross guild for him.
BB 10th Titanic Captain makes more sense to Increase BB whole crew strength to another extent.

Kid joining cross guild doesn't increase their power or strength by much at all. The guy is weak he got neg diff by shanks. Crocodile would have done better in kid situation. Even buggy based on how his devil fruit works shanks coc cutting ability won't be able work low diff buggy. Best shanks mid diff buggy

BB crew has more of Xebec crew vibe.
I know mihawk has Coc but it's not even confirmed yet none of Cross guild has Coc confirmed.

Whereas BB pirates is like BB/Shiryu/Aokiji/Kid.

And kid feels more like df> haki person. Like sengoku even he had coc but never got to unlock Adcoc ig.

Something is going to happen. The way his crew fucking went all beta. I wouldn't be surprised if he disbanded half his crew. He's in Moria/crocodile territory now where he has to rethink his ambitions. I don't see Kidd following anybody even though buggy's guild is basically a home for wayward terrorist he won't follow buggy unless it's for a reason like double crossing the cross guild and taking all their money. The cross guild is going to be a home for all pirates who hate the yonkou or the marines or just want to live peacefully not under the Yonkou rule. Just like the sephrim replaced the world power of shichibukai the cross guild is probably going to replace the role of Yonkou

The only reason I would see Oda do this is so Mihawk could teach him haki which is unlikely
