Character Discussion Kid never got much focus because Oda is saving him for Lodestar

I’m deluding my self into thinking Oda will write a coherent arc with the character that will make him likeable, instead of using him as his punching bag?

The Kid equivalent to ZKK is probably Kid beats Shanks or something. But I argue the opposite in this thread. I’m saying Luffy beats Shanks, but that Kid will be heavily featured in that arc.

even if you say Kid is dead and he’ll never appear again, Luffy vs Shanks has genuine merit to it.
If Shanks allies with Buggy, he’d be a greater threat than Teach.
The fact Shanks is leaving elbaf whereas Luffy is going there means that Elbaf likely won’t be Shanks’s arc. Hence chances are it is lodestar.
Teach on the other hand might just fall in elbaf.

ZKK was delusional because it put Zoro into the role of MC.
It’s not delusional to think Kid will get a comparable focus to Law and Bonney in their respective arcs, when he was introduced as one of the most important supernova.
Kid’s story was always tied to Shanks. Hence his focus can only happen when Shanks gets his focus. Hence he was sidelined.

What do I think? Demalo was literally rotting in jail imitating Kidd lmfao. If that's not a clear parallel that Kidd is washed up and GONE to the point where even frauds are using his name, then I don't know what is.
Kidd is bad but only for the given role he has which is leading the New Gen and being a rival of Goofy. Objectively speaking there are a lot worse Supernova like Hawkins, L Drake, etc.
