The manga is ending, Kid will have to share his spotlight with characters like Akainu, Dragon, Imu , BB to the point where he becomes almost irrelevant.

Kid is an ally, he doesn’t play the same role in the story as most of these characters

Oda isn’t going to handle all those characters in one arc. If he did that he’d end up ruining them.

Imagine after years of wanking Shanks, he becomes a hype tool for Teach. That’s what you’d need to happen if it’s all one arc.

My point with this thread is that Shanks is too important to be hypetooled. Rather he gets his own arc.

He and Buggy are the last yonko Luffy beats. Kid is a major ally for Luffy in that fight.

Maybe Oda will shove a bunch of things together for virtue of the story ending. But given how OP is Shueisha’s cash cow, idk.

I think lodestar will probably be a small arc transitioning from elbaf to laugh tale. After Teach, Luffy just needs to surpass Shanks. Zoro just needs to beat Mihawk. That’s about it.
