Character Discussion Kid running towards BM does not make any sense.

Yeah, but the SN's were, at first, just some hypetool for Sabaody. Dude even thought about just killing them off in the New World or whatever.
I'm glad he didnt. I actually like them. But it's kinda a given that he doesn't really treat all of them with the same caring he does with other side characters.

Kid has more beef with Kaido but he also isn't as reckless as he seems, he didn't have a last stand against the Red hair pirates when he lost his arm, he got out and later formed an alliance to get back at them.
He was shown to be more effective dealing with BM than he has been with Kaido and given that he was a big part of managing to split them up it seems more fruitful to keep that achievement going by trying to deal with BM than just letting her get back up and reset the biggest progress he has made.

maybe you just don't know kidd's character? no one really knows anything about him yet other than he's angry, proud, and violent. one thing he definitely isn't is stupid. kidd is probably low key one of the most intelligent people on the roof, at least on par with law if not smarter than him assuming his tech stuff is as legit as i think it is. he understands why they want to separate the yonko, and he probably doesn't believe luffy will kill kaido. theres time for him to get his own revenge when they all arent risking death

I think a lot of people expected Kidd to be solely focused on Kaido because it fits with what has been shown of his character and it’s literally the only reason he is on Onigashima. Remember this, Kidd never joined the Samurai Pirate Mink alliance. He literally came there only to get revenge on Kaido and not let Luffy take all the glory in taking him down. That’s it. Being arrogant and a hothead is what Kidd has shown he is lol. Remember when he blew him and Killers cover on the live stage because how angry he was at Apoo? It just doesn’t feel in character for Kidd to defer to Luffy when it comes to Kaido and accept a role of holding off Big Mom.
