Character Discussion Kid running towards BM does not make any sense.

Kid has many good reasons to fight Kaido.

• Kaido has beaten his crew and made Killer becomes laughter
• Kid boldly announced to revenge Kaido and threaten Luffy not to interrupt
• In chapter 1010, He knows that Luffy got beaten being unconscious and that Zoro is half-death

So basically, he left Law and half-death Zoro to continue fighting Kaido while he turns himself into a coast guard.
What is the explanation of this shameful behavior?

For the first time Kidd acts right actually

1- If we talk about strategy, he is doing the right thing to keep BM away from Kaido

2- If we talk about accomplishment, him taking on Big Mom is equal to taking on Kaido... so... it's the right thing for his notoriority too, instead of splitting the credit with Luffy on Kaido

3- If we talk about Killer laughter, it was Orochi, not Kaido

Lastly, Kidd already had beef with Big Mom pirates before and it was set up TWO TIMES:
- During Fishman island he sank two ships for her according to Tamago
- During WCI is was said he entered her territory, and in Udon Kidd expanded on that

Makes 100% sense to me

Kidd is like Luffy, he does not want to share glory of someone else. He wants a big fish.

Imo Kid should be the one to defeat Kaido, and Luffy should be the one to defeat Big Mom, but of course that's not going to happen because we have to have the main protagonist defeat the main antagonist.

Also Oda wants Luffy to be the hero of Wano and not Kid, imagine if Kid actually defeats Kaido and the people of Wano start praising him and even call him the hero of Wano or the man that saved Wano.

Oda wants all of that to happen but with Luffy, he wants Luffy to get all the praise and be called the hero of Wano.

Of course, the story is about Luffy not a character shown in ch.500 lol

Killer is confirmed to be the cook of Kidd's crew btw.

His fishes are in all likelihood not delicious enough since those are the only ones Kidd can realistically robustly hope to conquer right now.
