Kid's Return in Elbaph: A "Damned" Conflict with Giants I believe that the latest chapter is the most pivotal signal of Kid's return in Elbaph. This is because his own begrudged enemies have finally become the exact same enemies ALL of Elbaph are also now facing.
Unlike every single character on Elbaph, Kid is the ONLY one that already has a personal stake against these enemy giants. Kid and his crew should bear a strong grudge against Dorry and Broggy, who are under Imu's contract of immortality.
During the Red Hair conflict, Dorry and Broggy decimated Kid's precious Victoria Punk ship they've sailed on since the beginning. They also did all this even after his crew had already surrendered in combat and in ponegliffs, with an unconscious captain and his partner.
What Dorry and Broggy did to Kid is arguably worse than what even Kaido did. Kaido only fought because Kid & Killer didn't accept Kaido's offer. Kaido purposely wanted to keep everyone alive, ship included. As opposed to Dorry and Broggy, who could care less about casualties.
But assuming Kid is still alive, I believe he's currently in the Underworld. Kid and his crew are viewed as criminals who attempted to do battle with Elbaph. This would parallel Kid’s introduction in Wano, where he was introduced in that nation's own prison as well.
Kid's recovery abilities are abnormally fast. He had exceeded even Shanks' expectations, before their conflict. Beast Pirates also noted it only takes him a few days to recover. Kid's defeat was in fact 3 days ago, in-story. (More proof by Jarul, Kid is in the Underworld):
I believe Kid will inevitably cross paths with familiar faces—Gaban, who is currently falling into the Underworld to potentially meet Kid, and Chopper, whom Kid met during Udon. Kid has once openly stated that he would never trust anyone, in front of Chopper's face.
However, Kid has grown since then. While he may not have trusted the Straw Hats before, his interactions have made him more accepting. Chopper aims to gain crucial info from Gaban on Imu’s immortality, which could be key to Kid against these cursed giants he wants vengeance on.
Kid has knowledge of Roger’s crew by faces & even epithets, as seen by his reaction to Rayleigh. So Kid would surely recognise Gaban's identity as well. Kid may be willing to take Chopper and Gaban’s guidance on this situation, if it helps to get his revenge back at the giants.
If Gaban's counter has to do with Conquerors Haki, Kid would be a perfect person to pass this info to, given Kid’s possession of Conquerors. Kid's physical contact against Shanks' Divine Departure may have already given him an inkling on the secrets of Conqeurors Haki, as well.
Kid's strongest attacks actually already have to do with demonic themes as well, which is also befitting for Elbaph's conflict. Punk Rotten, Punk Corna Dio, and most importantly Damned Punk.
Damned Punk is the perfect move to unleash upon the giants. "Damned" by definition means subjected to eternal punishment in hell, exactly what Dorry / Broggy seem to be experiencing now. He'd really be hammering the thematics home on them, with this retribution-fueled ability.
This would be even more impactful when we consider that this very ability is the exact same "gun" that was pointed towards Elbaph which Broggy mentioned beforehand. And the move that would have hit towards the giants' direction, if not for Shanks' intervention.
This whole time, I'd been thinking that the feasible way for Kid to return is if Dorry / Broggy were somehow antagonists. If they weren't, this arc would just be a ridiculous curbstomp against only Kid, versus all of Elbaph + Straw Hats. But lo & behold, it managed to happen!
