I told you guys that kidd issue might not be ryou but more about power!

Kidd is doing something that Pre ryou g4 couldn't!
His brute strength is underrated here: squeezing base kaido and slamming Dragon kaido
He made kaido scream in pain!
He succeeded this chapter to hurt kaido : based on Kaido's own words "...you can all bypass my dura" after SN trio finished attacking him just before Killer did.

And Killer, this guy is insanely lethal,
I didnt expect him to shine this much! He can indulge internal damage via his sonic attacks.
What a beast!

Kidd is going to keep hurting kaido with brute power alone! This man hasn't even coated his punk rotten form in haki yet.
Luffy is relying on ryou and brute power
Law is relying on his surgical skills
Killer has his sonic attacks
And Zoro is relying on enma

Kidd and Killer are beasts.
If kidd truly managed to inflict a critical damage next chapter without ryou or whatever then this man deserves super praises.

No, you don't need Ryou for Kaido. That was literally a plot tool because Oda felt Luffy beating Kaido "just because" of his punches wouldn't satisfy his audience.

The distinction between "Level 2" and "Level 3" Haki was a last minute retcon. Even Luffy did not understand the distinction. Clearly Oda did not intend to have them separated before Wano.

Oda messed up.

He cornered himself so he had to separate advanced CoA into 2 parts
Made g4 not do much pre ryou

But i think the reason why kidd is succeeding is because he's not punching or slapping kaido.
It seems like Punches are less likely to hurt kaido.

Bro people use spoilers to further their arguments every chapter and it always proves to be different when the actual chapter releases. Like the fact people still do that is embarrassing, the amount of nonsense that was posted last week on every thread has been ripped apart by Oda as always, our Lord delivered. People were underestimated and overestimating characters with spoilers and head cannon and look where it got them.

I’m proud of the 5 monsters this week, they done did good!

The sword doesn't allow him to use haki better. It's the direct opposite. It makes it harder to control.

How a person grows strong with the sword is learning to control their haki better with the sword. It's like training in a weighted vest. The weighted vest doesn't instantly increase your strength but over time you will grow stronger from using it. But, until then you will actually be weaker with it. You won't be as fast or able to do as many reps.

Until he fully tame the sword he is sstronger with shuisui.

Look at the latest chapter. He's only used the sword three times in this chapter he's already starting to breathe heavy. That shows how much harder it is to use enma.
