Abilities are usually introduced pretty early into character fights to build hype.

Once Queen vs Sanji started Queen revealed himself to be a cyborg that not even Vegapunk can surpass.

Once Kaido vs Luffy started Kaido revealed his use of coating his attacks in Advanced CoC.

Katakuris future sight was introduced before the fight then his awakening was introduced quickly after.

Kings reveal was his racial traits. Not his haki so I’m pretty sure he won’t show any advanced haki

For King's and Zoro's downplayers. Just keep in mind that if King and Zoro doesn't have ACoC that would just make them even more incredible since they would have bigger feats using weaker techniques than Luffy and Kaido that have smaller feats using stronger techniques.

Usopp didn't need to use CoO until now. He wasn't at WCI and BM beated P1.

It is definitely possible.

Once Zoro figures out the secret to King's unique power Zoro should take the lead. Zoro can already counter King's fire power so King won't have much left stop him from being completely dominated by Zoro. Giving him ACOC would help King keep up with Zoro instead of being completely overwhelmed.

Personally I'd like him to have each type at above average level like Zoro rather an advanced type, Kata was a weakass glass canon and needed FS to not get knocked out in 5 minutes.

He doesn't have advanced CoC, he has a different hax, which might attribute to his CoA hardening, race/zoan or all three combined.
