King has demostrated not to be a strong swordman:
1)He lost his sword in a battle (when the sword it's the most holy to a swodman)
2)He never has demostrated to be best swordman (if zoro had been king he would fight agaisnt oden)
3)Zoro never was interasted about him (zoro in each arc he is interasted to defeat swordman like kaku, ryuma and the same mr1 but with king he never said anything about him indeed he compared queen and king for that king isn't famous swordman).
4)King never was interasted about zoro (how it's possilble than king doesn't say anything about zoro the hunter pirate when the same kaido know about him)
All of that do it than king isn't a strong swordman he is like cracker or smoothie. He use a sword but he didn't believe about it so zoro doesn't have time to spend about weaker swordman as king.

he is strong because he is yc1 (the same than cracker or smoothie) but it is due his sword ability (like kaku or ryuma)
That's the difference kaku is strong swordman because he use his debil fruit to enchance his sword ability but king never use it

Well he basically would most likely get one shot by a real super powerhouse eventually in my opinion.

He looks like a pretty versatile fighter so he doesn't rely 100% on swordsmanship as we saw until now, King and Queen are different from everyone else in the crew cuz one is a from a extinct race, he has black wings and uses a sword + his DF, Queen for example is a dope Cyborg + DF.

So King must be something like Katakuri with his spear, but it looks like his strongest abilities are all related to using a sword as we saw him cutting Marco's wing, but as i said he isn't a regular human and he is an Ancient Zoan user, in a way or another he will have other capabilities that automatically boost his overall strength, including his ability with a sword.
