Whats interesting is that rocks D xebec never wanted or tried to be the pirate king. I don't think he even looked for poneglyph to try to find the last island to be pirate king. Idk whats his true motivation to why he wanted to rule the world but he had different completely goal compare to roger luffy Bb etc

when you even think about it IMU had all these 800 years to look for the one piece but they didn't and they don't even care that luffy is Nika or joyboy. Imu and the world government are just watching and waiting for another joy boy/nika to try something again.

my main point is that
is there another hidden treasure or hidden power that rocks knew and could challenge imu and the world government without needing the pirate king treasure ?
Like there is another method of not needing the pirate king treasure to challenge the world government

1 method = IMU power
2 method = pirate king treasure
3 method = what rocks had or tried to get

I don't think most pirate or even all had that dream. Rocks goal was simply to rule the whole world to the point WG + roger force was needed to take him down. King of the world means much more then that and rocks had something both roger and imu didn't have. Rocks wasnt normal pirate

The king of the world probably has something to do with the 3 ancient weapons

They aren't necessary to become the pirate king but they are necessary if you want to rule the world

Blackbeard, the second coming of Rocks wants both the One Piece and World Domination..

all we know rocks wanted to rule the world aka king of the world which is greater then pirate king
IMU wants to be king of the world but he/she can't and failed yet

why would pirate king be better then what rocks tried to be when IMU failed

also i dont think BB is the second rocks

King of the world means you rule the whole world and pirate king doesnt even mean u rule the whole sea lol

because IMU isn't the king of the world
no one is and he failed because he isn't one simple
i mean imu doesnt have wano, Elbaf, whole cake island etc under his control

in reality no one is the king of the world and rocks tried to be one

Ok, now i understand why Imu is not the King of the world from your perspective..

Actually the King of the World could mean the King of all Land since the manga does make the distinction with the Pirate King being
the King of Sea.. And the Sea mass is much larger than Land mass.. So Pirate King > World King..

I think for all intent and purposes, Imu is the current King of the World(habitable land) for the most part..

Imu can take over Wano, Elbaf and Whole Cake island but Pirates will just relocate somewhere else..

No it depends on what Joyboy was

in the Emeth flashback to Joyboy, he apologizes to Joyboy saying “I’m sorry I couldn’t make you king”

whatever king Joyboy was supposed to be is the Top King… And I bet it’s going to be Pirate king
