Powers & Abilities King, the Snuffed Wildfire?

I've lost all faith in Queen taking anything in this Manga seriously, oi. But, with King, I'm honestly perplexed. Even if he is getting attacked... why isn't he using his flames? Wouldn't it make sense to Flameo Hotman, when you're... uh... getting attacked by vines?

My first thought was "Oh, King is probably just too weak/getting his nutrients drained, but he needs to be in much better shape than Queen. Then, something struck me.

What if King's flames were formed from his wings? What if King needs BOTH wings to use his fire abilities? What if Zoro actually permanently crippled King, by cutting his wing off?

Because if King is still able to use his flames, then boy are the Beast Pirates scrub hours. You can't even light some vines on fire? Nika help us.

- remember he made himself explode when fighting Zoro , wtf was even that?
- what's the point of the wings
- why doesn't he always stay in fire form if he literally becomes more durable then Kaido
- was King still damaged by dragon damnation when fighting GB?
- King isn't in fire form when standing still wrapped by vines and fixed in place , makes no sense

Yeah King is FUCKING WEIRD, Queen wasn't joking, what the hell is Lunarian DNA doin? Morbin?

I keep forgetting about when King blew up, damn, I can't wait till Oda goes deeper in him (the lore, not the vines).

Maybe his fire form allows him to absorb damage, and then release it, but he can only do it a few times, or there's a cool down?

It seems like there was a massive battle in udon. Much like every other ability, his flames probably have a limit. He likely ran out of strength and was no longer able to keep using them, much like marco's regen.

I honestly can't tell if King fought or not. It's clear that Queen got his ass handed to him on a plate, but King looks to be recovering, and isn't near Queen. I'm not saying this to be an ass, I wish Oda had been more clear about what happened in this fight (I think he's trolling us again)

It's just Aramaki hype. King and Queen were injured but they're not weak for getting whooped by an Admiral, that's just a reflection of the Admiral's strength.
