These men with face tattoo like serpent-like creature, some of them will worship those creature like a god. Kalgara is a prime example. He worship a giant snake as a deity and gave it a name, they call it The Sun God. They also believe serpent is a spiritual being that holds divine power.

Let's take a look on top of the Red Line which is now called Marie Jois (whatever you call it). There has a lot of buildings and the design of these buildings are very European style. At the far away lies the huge Pangea castle which also has European style design. However there is one part of the castle that is not European-like, that place is the throne room. Comparing the throne room of the European, you will see the difference. There are no railing because this is a design based on ancient emperor throne. 3 Stairways on the front and 1 on each side, all have railing on them.
Why would an European design castle has a mix throne design? It is because China's emperor is associated with azure dragon.

The purpose of the Great Wall is to protect the chinese citizen from barbarian attack. Maybe the Red Line was also built for similar purpose. Or maybe that's how the Lunarian being called God because they protected something from something else. Why is it so tall and what were they protecting from? could they be titan sized giant that are as big as the Onigashima skull. Or other creatures that can grew as big as Zunisha elephant.
