About Tou (1k troops) vs Yoku (5k troops)
I noticed recently that this was no duel, Tou was supposedly getting ganged up on by Yoku and his men
Yoku did great nevertheless, but its a relief that this was no serious 1v1 duel, makes 0 sense anyway especially since Tou mid-high diffed Rinbukun a couple days earlier lol

I wasn’t even mad lol, I was fine with Kou En’s son fighting Tou temporarily. It was no different for me than Shin vs Gaimou or Shin vs Gyou’Un, just a burst of talent from a future Chu Great General.

It’s like you said, he is a retard lol.

But nah I see it as one of those “don’t expect special treatment” things lol. We shouldn’t expect the Chu military to baby Yoku just because of who his daddy is. Up until Shukai Plains the Ousen army (Akou in particular) seemed to talk down to Ouhon quite a bit. Tou’s vassals talked down to Ouhon as well.

This is a military, not a baby sitting service lol.

I don't see it entirely as a gag fight. That was definitely a feat for Yoku, maybe he was just stronger than we think.

Babysitting =/= heavily insulting and threatening to kill the son of the most esteemed general in the state
Maybe his identity as Kouen’s son was hidden though, option still there

Karin did the same thing. She told Yoku that if he didn’t kill Tou, she would execute him lol. She told that to everyone in Rinbukun’s army iirc.

Nah, I don’t think Kou En would want his son receiving special treatment. As a Chu Great General, Kou En understands how shit works and wouldn’t want others walking on Egg Shells around his kid. He would want Yoku to face the same struggles as everyone else, and part of that is threats of punishment or death from his failures.

I mean just imagine if Renpa or Ouki had kids. Do you think they would want their states treating their kids special or something? Do you think Ousen or Moubu want other commanders to treat their sons differently? I don’t lol, and I imagine Kou En is the same way. I imagine if Kou En learned that a superior officer threatened his kid with death for insubordination, he would hope his son would learn not to be insubordinate rather than being angry at the commander who put him in his place. Bamyuu may be a joke but he was Yoku’s superior at Coalition lol. If Bamyuu or Karin actually killed Yoku that would be another matter.

I doubt it lol. There’d be no reason to hide it.

And the kid with the same family name as Kou En meteorically rising through the Chu military at an almost unheard of pace wielding one of the most famous weapons in China just seems to fit perfectly with the theory of Yoku being Kou En’s son lol.

Speaking of Kouyoku as a commander, it's true that we lack a lot of stuff on him compared to Mouten/Shin/Ouhon and it certainly make sense to have any of them over him...but I'd wager that he's probably quite formidable too. At Juuko him and Hakurei were the ones leading the reinforcement sent by Karin (which I think were like 30k? Shin for instance only started from this arc to lead such a number from the start). Recently Karin also sent him to take various castles, which he did, you could parallel this with the Shin army doing the same.

And by EoS especially, Kouyoku probably gonna be a Chu Great General and hella powerful.

Sounds like cope but I genuinely feel like Tou respects and supports the growth of promising young talents and actually doesn't want to kill them even when they're from enemy states lol.

This is just speculation but it’s possible Kouyoku maybe has the same adaption/growth trait that Shin has.

I could see CA Shin doing this against Tou under the right conditions.

Karin is Karin, I can see her talking shit to anyone
As for Bamyuu I don’t see it, especially how the nobility were revered as gods in China
We’ll have to wait and see I guess, I’m pretty against a monkey like Yoku being Kouen’s son lol

Pure strength ranking ?
Pretty good. Kaishibou should be one behind Bananji at worst.
Gaimou too high imo but people hold by such high regard maybe I underestimate the dude.
Rows were randomly assigned, might rank them properly later
I’m a big believer in Gaimou, he’s one of the final villains when you think about it
Not many tough guys remain for Qin to defeat
SBS for Zhao
Gaimou for Wei
Man’U and whomever else Chu can offer

Gaimou vs Tou would be legendary, fuck Shin lol

If there is one fight that's just set for the future it's Gaimou vs Shin lol
