•It kinda annoys me a bit that Kisui is a Charachter People dont give enough Credits for what he stands.

•Yes hes a General who hasnt really done/achived much Combat/Leadingwise in the Manga so far but the Reason for this exactly is cause he has different Prioritys he doesent wanna live trough the same shock he witnessed in the past again.

•The People in his State are way more important for him than any personal Achivments or Titles that was clearly seeable in Battle vs Kanki. Thats why they love him so much and would even die without question for him. 1 small Speech of him when he appeared was enough to immediatly take care of Kankis Commander and her Army.

•My personal Wish for him is to end up with Qin or rather said Sei entrusts him with Zhao once hes conqueroed every State on the Map the People would listen to him.

He was falsely advertised. Why should our dicks get hard because he cares about his people, what's more prominent to us is that he's jobbed in 100% of the battles he's fought on-screen.

I think Kisui is gonna be more important at some point, especially in leadership where I think his main quality lies.

He's compared to SBS in the sense they both can have potential to become 3GH, for Kisui more subtly at least.

Was regarded as a hidden potential.

He has potential and a hidden one, that's the point, all you listed wont mattet anything, it depends how Hara uses him. Panels imply he could be a future great heavens. Is he on par with SBS? No. Could he be later? Probably, depends how Hara builds him and what areas, could be ither than martial, he was saved for a reason.

Keisha literally said Kusi gives off the same stench as him, anything else wont matter but how Hara builds him in the future.

I fail to see how his shortcomings on the battlefield stem from his unwillingness to be anything more than the Lord of Rigan.

At Shukai Plains, among the Zhao commanders, I would rank them

Gyou’un
Garyuu~Bananji
Kisui
Batei ~ Gakuei

Kisui is a pretty good general but there’s nothing more to be said about him, Mouten and Makou almost completely destroyed his army on day one of Shukai Plains had Riboku not saved him, and Mouten was able to completely stall out Kisui’s regular army with an army that was foreign to him. This is Kisui’s best feat, his other feats are getting rolled like a joint by Zenou.

He did manage a nice feat against Kokuou, she was pushing back Kinmou and Kisui showed up and his troops’ morale increased so much that the Zhao started pushing Kokuou back, which is nice I guess but like…who cares?

Ryuutou pretty severely outplayed the Hi Shin Unit strategically, and Kisui did one shot a 1,000 man commander, so he has some decent feats but I would certainly not call him underrated lol, he definitely is not as strong as Bananji or Seika’s Generals.

Kisui is an Okay General. Never knew what the hype were about him to consider him a candidate for Great Heavens. Maybe the fact that he managed to fend off couple of attacks on Rigan made him such a big figure but its likely cause no big dogs aimed at his city.

Ask Hara, not me. Keisha who was also another candidate for great heavens, said Kisui gave off the same stench as him.

Is SBS superior to both? Yes.

I don’t think it was ever stated that Kisui had Great Heaven potential, only that he had Great General potential which is not the same thing. Zhao has Great Generals who are not Great Heavens such as Kochou, Gakujou, Chou Kotsu, etc.

Yeah i think hes gonna play a bigger Role in the Future

True enough. Its more the way he is towards his People and what hes prioritzing why i like him

As a general, he's a morale giving monster. Strategy-wise? Inferior to the current rising stars trio.

Freaking RESPECT Kisui

I am a big fan of Kisui. That panel of Kisui lifting the morale of the entire army just by showing up gave me goosebumps.

During Coalition arc, both SHK and Riboku said only a GG or so could raise the morale of a city in such circumstances or a king could. Kisui is not so strong or talented yes but when need arises his leadership skills are what make him a potential GG.
