Sanji is a character that's been focused to improve his speed, he literally increased his speed to where he can disappear.
Zoro is a character that uses sword-based combat.

Against a character that does both, it makes sense you would put the two players that can handle those techniques.

Speed was never a problem vs zoro lol
They said zoro and sanji tag team king
And tag team vs king queen

Anyone that actually thinks Zoro will defeat an Admiral before Luffy are nothing more than clowns.

If they fight the Admirals then Zoro beats an Admiral before Goofy. Unless Luffy beats one in a filler arc like this one but then he will return and Zoro never fought Luffy's sloppy seconds and he won't start now.
Luffy beating someone who's virtually equal to Akainu and Kuzan in a filler arc reads like fanfic.
