I feel like Koby’s bounty suggests that Koby is, in fact, on track to accomplishing his dream of becoming admiral.
At the moment, Koby is worth 500 mil. This was the exact amount Luffy was worth post dressrosa.
To go from a rookie to yonko, Luffy had just two bounty jumps.
500 mil —> 1.5 bil
1.5 bil —> 3 bil
Given that we know admirals are worth 3 bil, Koby similarly only needs two major bounty jumps to accomplish this dream.
Him getting these jumps is all but guaranteed.
At the moment, Garp is taking heavy damage by the BBP and chances are, he will be captured.
If Garp is captured, then Koby will have to team up with Luffy to save him. That is the first bounty boost. Koby will fight some yonko commander, probably Alvida. This will get him to the 1 billion range, likely due to him being promoted to VA.
We also know that Koby will have a significant role in the final war, being one of the few good marines. Say he beats a Holy knight or a CP0 agent, imo this will be the impetus for his final bounty raise to 3 billion.
Ultimately, Koby is highly likely to have significance in two major arcs going forward. It is through these two arcs, the BBP arc and the final war, that Koby will become worthy of being admiral.
