It was said that Drake was the captain of SWORD. But now that Drake fought a CP0 agent, he will likely be kicked out of the marines, which means that Koby is now the leader of SWORD.

I wonder what this means for him. Perhaps he will take on Drake's role and join the blackbeard pirates as a navy spy. Then when Luffy finally takes down blackbeard, Koby will participate in that war, paralleling God Valley with Roger and Garp.
Alternatively, they could have him join the red hair pirates. Here, he would similarly be given a chance against blackbeard, where he would ultimately be crushed, enraging Luffy. Similar to kinemon in wano or bellamy in dressrosa.

Anyways, excited to see where this takes him

Nah the existence of sword in the first place is so they could also monitor the shady buisness WG does behind the navy's back, why woild drake be kicked out anyway, it wouldn't even fix anything the WG would still know his true identity and what the navy did

X-Drake is captain not leader why Coby would be leader if X-Drake is out of Marines? And X-Drake is kind of a non-marine he is a spy only working under SWORD. He fighting CP-0 would make no difference. What CP-0 would say? "I was making business with Orochi and Kaido and this guy fought with me"?
