we dont really know what Koby is capable now we dont really know if he is still weak af, take note that luffy and koby unlocked haki at the same time, and the chancea that Garp was probably his teacher just like luffy was reiyleigh’s teacher is 100% specially what koby did during the war of the best!

in fact he probably trained a lot after these two years time skip and thats how he was able tobecome the 4th highest ranking for now and he probably got that high rank in the most shortest time probably when he showed his true powers

remember the time helmeppo think that koby’s observation haki is weird?

what makes me think that he is strong was that WG made him the captain of the fleets who would try to capture boa hancock a warlord maybe he was force to do it but still that is something..

now lets change the topic lets go how he handle things as a captain of this fleets!

definetely he doesnt want anyone to die, he even beg boa hancock to just come because he dont want the both sides to suffer, this is probably how he convinced the rocky port people to not fight blackbeard because its actually pointless to fight for it because blackbeard will just rekt them probably thats how he saved countless lives and was called a “hero”.

anyway what do you guys think? is koby stupid? kinda awesome or what?

I like Koby. He’s a good kid, but I think he still had a ways to go. His rate of growth can’t be denied as this was officially stated, but when you take a look at the current Admirals and what they are capable of (on top of the fact that they all have devil fruits and are monsters in their own way), it seems like an incredibly daunting task despite the fact that it is Koby’s dream.

I mean, I’m all for him accomplishing that since he’s, once again, a good dude and helps people the best he can. He has good morals and such.

I just—I can’t see how he will get there at the moment? He’s certainly come a ways from when he was on Alvida’s ship though obviously.

He is stronger than his rank suggests but he is far from what his few fans claim him to be. It's laughable to think that he is above or evn equal to the likes of Zoro, Jimbei and Sanji.
He is below YC level, he was intimidated in the presence of fucking Kyros. He lacks feats and portrayal. He is just portrayed as a nice humble guy so far with decent CoO, that's it. Nothink to wank him as a soon to be top tier or a current high tier.

It could be; it depends on Oda.

Koby has the portrayal, but not the feats at the moment. If Oda needs him to be strong, even very strong, he will; if not, he will just be (a lot) stronger than his rank suggest, but not much compared to the big guys.
