General & Others Koby will fight Akainu

One of the most impactful moments in marineford was Koby standing up to akainu
however at the moment, he had no haki and could do nothing but speak before akainu would have murdered him, if not for shanks.

I feel like we are going to get something similar to this in the final war.

Koby will stand up to akainu again, however this time he will be able to fight. Garp would have taught him ACoA/ACoC and he will be able to put up a good fight before he ultimately loses. However this time, instead of Shanks coming to Koby's rescue, it will be Luffy.

I feel like Luffy views Koby as a little brother, much in the same way he views Momonosuke. Especially since Koby was trained by Garp and is everything Garp wanted Luffy to be. In saving Koby from Akainu, Luffy will basically be doing what Ace did to him, albeit without the dying part.

So in the end, Coby still can't stop Akainu without asking someone for help.

Don't be too hard on Koby, he won't be the only one who can't stop someone else without begging for help. I mean, after all, even the Cook begged to be helped because he couldn't beat Black Maria.

I like Koby but bro, Akainu's built different, he sliced through Whitebeard like he was butter and probably would've happily gone after the yonkos if he was allowed to. Sakazuki got that dog in him.

Akainu gonna put Garp in a retirement home if he gets uppity with him.

Kidding aside, doesn't that mean Koby getting the Luffy rescue from Akainu is only for plot and not a testament to Koby's failure?

The more I see this arc will be development for koby. Koby fighting blackbeard over akainu makes total sense.

The plot looks like Garp will challenge bb and ends up losing his life .

There is no real beef between them, also even if Coby has an huge potential I don't think he will reach that level of power before the manga ends. Sabo is still the safest bet.
