I think that along with Kidd, Law, Momonosuke and Sabo these 5 will be the ones to defeat the Gorosei the leaders of the old world as the leaders of the new era

While the SHs fight the Knights of God, Zoro fights Mihawk(who is revealed to be of House Nerona and gets a powerup that puts him above Roger, Rocks, WB)

Its going to be Kong.

Koby needs to beat an admiral to accomplish his dream. Kong is not only the weakest admiral, he is also paradoxically one of the most important due to his rank.

Hence Koby gets to beat an old weak admiral, prove he's worth the rank, and also get a boost to his hero status for defeating the WG commander in chief.
