A lot of Shimotsuki's left Wano probably because they lived in the shadow of the Kozuki clan. Zoro's grandmother was so embarassed about her Shimotsuki lineage, she married an outsider so she could change her name to Roronoa. Oden and Momonuske are more relevant and stronger than Ryuma and Zoro. Kozuki clan is the clear winner.
