Kuma's flashback ends next episode. I wonder whether they are trying to time the end of Kuma's backstory in the animewith the end of Kuma himself in the manga. Sommer's will kill him. He talked so much crap about parents dying from his thorns by trying to free their children. What numb brainless moron would die like that? Saul realized quickly that you can't take them off by brute force. Kuma is braindead though. Should Sommers put his thorns around Bonney, Kuma would pull on them until he bleeds out.
I have seen people compare Kuma to Jesus, because he sacrifices himself over and over for others. The romans put a crown of thorns on his head, to make fun of him for calling himself king but not of this world. Kuma was a king agaisnt the will of the World Government. Sommers will mock him by conjuring a crown with his DF powers and donning it on Kuma's corpse.
