Shiryu will fight Zoro.
Lafitte will fight Sanji at best. That's enough to put Shiryu above Lafitte.
And that's ignoring all the hype Shiryu got in Impel Down too....
Shiryu and Magellan got some really good hype for a pre TS One Piece. Oda just needs to give both some post TS hype too tho.
The only thing that I dislike as of right now is his mid fruit. There are extremely strong fruits that allow you to manipulate nature, dangerous elements, become basically a God or a mythical/ancient beast with super powers and you choose a pervert's dream (bar Time stop). Like bruh... Granted, Oda can always buff the fruit however he wants so my opinion might change and all but as of right now it's garbage.

I also have high hopes for Lafitte. He gives off all the vibes of a strong “almost impossible to beat by non-Yonko” character. I don’t really like BB’s crew they seem like they’re all fodder other than Kuzan, Lafitte (who’s power still remains to be seen) and maybe Shiryu. Going down to Garp like that didn’t look the best but Garp is also a monster worth 3 billion so it’s not as bad as some are making it out to be.
