So I got my hands on some of Oda's drafts for the Laugh Tale arc, hope you don't mind being spoiled:
Keep in mind, there seems to be another arc between this and Egghead.
Laugh Tale:
Arc starts with all 4 Yonko crews heading towards the location of the final Road Poneglyph.
All 4 Yonko crews now have 3 Road Poneglyps rubbings and we get a small recap how the other Yonko got the rubbings and the location of the final Road Poneglyph.
The location of the final Road Poneglyph is inside a huge black ship (similar to the size of Thriller Bark).
Fights between the 4 crews start on sea and carry over to the black ship.
It's an all out war between the 4 crews with a lot of skirmishes between different members.
The captain of the black ship is revealed to be Rocks D Xebec, he is now a very old man with a lot of scars and burn marks, he is no longer in a fighting condition.
We get a full God Valley flashback and some big secrets and twists are revealed.
Blackbeard is Xebec's son and he kills Xebec to take his fruit: The Dog Dog fruit: Mythical Model Cerberus
Some of the best fights during this arc are:
Sea battles:
- Shanks VS Mihawk (no winner)
- Sanji VS Crocodile (Sanji wins)
- Zoro VS Shiryu (Zoro wins)
- Luffy VS Blackbeard Round 1: (Luffy clearly has the upperhand on Blackbeard, but he still looses when Blackbeard drops him into the sea with a trick)
- Shanks VS Blackbeard Round 1: (Shanks easily defeats Blackbeard and blows him away onto the black ship)
Battles on the Black Ship:
- Luffy VS Shanks (friendly skirmish without a winner, Shanks teaches Luffy some new CoC tricks)
- Luffy VS Blackbeard Round 2: on the deck of the ship, after Blackbeard kills Xebec and eats the Cerberus fruit (Luffy looses, Blackbeard nullifies Luffy's fruit and completely overwhelms him with all 3 of his fruits, Luffy tries to use the new CoC tricks Shanks teached him, but fails)
- Shanks VS Blackbeard (Blackbeard wins using his new fruit and leaves Shanks mortally wounded)
- Sanji VS Kuzan (Sanji wins)
- Zoro VS Mihawk (Zoro wins)
- Luffy VS Blackbeard Round 3: deep inside the ship, in front of the Road Poneglyph after Shanks dies (Luffy fully embraces/unlocks his CoC and defeats Blackbeard without using his fruit)
After the Strawhats win the battle for the final Road Poneglyph, they head to Laugh Tale.
