You might think one attack did more damage than another, but read the narrative, not the pictures. The two worked together, hit the same number of attacks, competed as rivals. You might question it, but it's far more likely that for Oda the two played exactly the same role in Big Mom's defeat.

Was Law much of a “mastermind”? I wouldn’t really say so. The Strawhats would have set their sights on Caeser, Doffy and Kaido without him anyway- it’s one of the main things that show Law wasn’t planned.

After Punk Hazard anything he’s planned has quite quickly went completely off the rails and then required the Strawhats to just beat up everyone they face.
