The heart pirates are a joke. The heart pirates are a big mom joke. No i take that back the heart pirates are worse than big mom joke.

Literally what do they do? Have they ever been useful outside of nursing law to heal luffy?

Their commitment to their captain is weak. What do they do when they are faced with a strong opponent? They beg. They are the most useless crew in one piece. Absolutely shambles.


Law is a horrible captain who gathered a bunch of useless idiots.

In one piece he solid.
Nobody written all that great, in this manga. Luffy/Zoro are basically the same character wise, since the first couple chapters. Sanji like the only character, Oda puts real development into

Law crew is ass tho currently,
But it’s no different then Early WB crew.
There hard carried.
Later on some, can become powerful enough to clash with admirals. Laws the generational talent, it’ll take years for the others to catch up.​

That was a personal vendetta. Built long before the crew was even made.

An it would’ve resulted in Laws death. He’s not reckless enough to get his crew involved. Especially over personal shit. He’s characters the smart/thought out type. He can’t rely on plot magic. To save him from rash decisions

Sadly, your take on the crew is right.It doesn't make any sense at all for Law's crew to be so pitifully weak.Couldn't Oda at least give him a strong first mate like he did for Kid?
Law is nice though.His crew is trash.

I know we are used to extremely tight bonds in One Piece, but Law going for Doflamingo's head is as realistic as it gets.He hated Doffy from the bottom of his heart and is rightfully obsessed with taking him down.I don't think that's bad of him.It's very realistic for a human (especially a pirate) to want revenge even if it means leaving something behind.

Oda created Law over night as a request from his editor.
In order to make him a captain he had to give him a crew so he just made a bunch of bland fodder characters. The reason this is showing is because Oda never planned for Law to become so relevant.

Because you don't survive in the new world if you are weak.The SH needed 2 years of training to be good enough for the new world.It's kinda weird that Law is the only strong character in his crew.

Have you seen Headliners and Big Mom ministers who mostly don't have haki?

"Only Monster Trio level fighters can survive in the New World" hasn't been the case as far as we can see

Not everyone in the crew has to be strong.They don't have to be strong because several other people in their crew are strong.Without them, they wouldn't survive as pirates in the New World.
