If Kid and Law join forces they would be a strong crew but top heavy. It’s crazy they could combine their crews and still be weaker than the Strawhats. Oda could have done better with the crews.

Yeah, from both crews only killer is a force to reckon, all the others are way too weak and not well introduced so i can't even remember them lol.
They looked more promising pts, maybe those two years of training skyrocket strawhats to a different league but oda could handle them better, i agree to that.

This is true and perfectly agreeable & reasonable. Besides, Law and Kidd with weaker crew is why they can't become PK, but luffy can. Rooftop showing is a good example.

Law is solo.
Kidd has Killer.
Luffy has Zoro, Jinbe, Sanji (and Yamato) had they're not shackled by narrative.

This is proof about each crew's eligibility for the top of the world.

They may be nothing more than fodder cleaners but Bepo Shachi and Penguin are really nice characters and pair well with Law if you read his novel

I kinda like the idea of Law having a crew that's more like a second family to him than people he has to rely on in a fight

Law has a typical pirate crew. Captains in general are overwhelmingly stronger than their subordinates. That doesn't mean they all need to abandon their crews. They'll grow along with Law just like the other underlings but they'll never be close to him. Roger and Luffy happened to be the exceptions to this rule because they have unusually strong subordinates that can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their captains.

WB's crew wasn't nearly as balanced as Roger's or Luffy's. While Oden was overwhelmingly strong compared to their other crew members, the difference b/w WB and Oden was still huge. Most number twos are way ahead of the rest of the crew.
