Current Events Law taking on Oden's role by leading the Scabbards

Amidst all the Zoro and Sanji or Luffy and Kid nonsense, no one is talking about the fact that Law has become the de facto leader of the Scabbards. Of course, Kinemon thinks himself the "leader", but even Denjiro is deferring to Law's wits and strategy to lead the Scabbards.

With all due respect to Kid, while he tries to take Kaido's head (good luck), Law has surpassed him in hype once again. First him being a Shichibukai, then the higher bounty, now essentially replacing Oden. Remember, Law has Yonko Commander level guys like Denjiro, Ashura, Kawamatsu, and Inuarashi under him.

I guess this wasn't unforeseen. Beppo makes his ties to Zou and Inuarashi strong, and him and Kinemon started since Punk Hazard:

Remember, the Scabbards have no proper leader to take Oden's place. Kinemon and Denjiro are sort of filling in, but there is no 1:1 replacement, until Law came along.

Yea, its pretty cool to see law takin command over the alliance movements during the raid. It really plays to his mastermind theme.

While luffy/Kid play the front, with there respective crews. Laws takin the BB route planning shit, an using the necessary caution needed.

Law is one of the leaders of the alliance, it's only natural people in an alliance listen to each other and work towards a common goal by strengthening each other. This does not give one some kind of special authority over the other. Law's simply taking the role he's best at i.e., strategist and the scabbards are listening to their strategist.

Sure, Oda "coincidentally" put them there because they are supposed to be there in the first place.
Law is not in the middle of them, he is outside of their circle and put his opinion of the plan in the mix.

Oda placed them all on Law's ship, while Luffy/Kid went off on their own. Now Law is making their plans, because as Denjiro pointed out, Kinemon is not clever enough to pull off that role.

Im not gonna say Law surpassed Kidd (or vice versa), but you do realize Laws bounty increased to 440M BEFORE he became a shichibukai? So it wasnt even because of the Rocky Port Incident because that gave him his title, and we dont know when in the TS that happened (which matters because we dont know how long he was a warlord), it was whatever he did between the TS and the RPI that got him to his frozen bounty. Thats a 240M increase in less than 2 years before it got frozen. Kidd went up to 470M, which is a 140M increase, and only 30M above Laws frozen bounty. Whatever they did during the timeskip, Laws deeds were obviously more impressive.

And what do you suppose Kidd would have done in the one month(?) he was imprisoned, that would raise his bounty above 500M?

Plus Law ship is only one in the proximity....

He's not exactly taking Oden's place but he will be the one to guide this group and assists them till they all reach their goals.
