Those weapons gave her nothing more than higher attack power.
Everything else still remains the same.

And, she used those weapons for only like 2 attacks IIRC

Laxus pummeled her several times to finally put her down.
Guess what, Suzaku causally did it with a single attack. Not through hax or some nonsense mind you, just through pure stats.

I am giving Laxus a huge benefit of doubt by putting him on same level as Suzaku. He doesn't have the power to one shot Erza or base Natsu.
And DF Natsu is demonstrably stronger than Suzaku. DF durability allows him to tank attacks from Suzaku. Natsu doesn't even need DF attack power to damage Suzaku, just FDKM attack power was enough

You said it yourself , Laxus In base is stronger than Natsu.
He haven't even used DF to begin with.
(He never will , as he himself Destroyed the Thunder Dragon Lacarima now in a few recent chapter)

Dude, I am not saying a hypothetical DF Laxus won't be as strong or stronger than DF Natsu

All I'm saying is DF Laxus has never appeared, so it's pointless scaling him. Canon Laxus would get absolutely destroyed by DF Natsu

Also, Laxus is still a dragon slayer tho.
He just stopped being a 2nd gen DS, and instead became 1st gen DS. Because he absorbed part of the lightning dragon king soul from Kirin

Also Red Lightening concept goes Beyond his Thunder God Lightening.

Sure, it's stronger than his regular lightning. However, Erza and Kirin tanked several of these RL attacks though.

Laxus needed several RL attacks to put Erza down.

RL couldn't put Kirin down. Laxus needed to use Kirin's own power against him to finally put him down/

True. But it needs a lot of prep time, so not exactly feasible in a 1v1 against characters near his level, unless the fight starts from a considerable distance/gap.

FT characters are in general a lot stronger compared to OP characters.
You had city level attacks in FT back in beginning of series itself. Beginning of series Jellal (who BoS Laxus scales to) was capable of city level destruction with spells like Abyss Break and Self Destruction.

While in OP, attacks of this destruction are reserved for characters approaching/at top tier.

By the end of the main series, Laxus was able to make a city sized lightning nuke on the fly, as he did to Ajeel (that August had to intervene to block).
Laxus is also a tank within the series, able to take attacks scaling to city level without much problems.

Laxus also has lightning speed, sort of like Enel in OP, though lightning body isn't passive for him unlike Enel.

So yeah, Laxus no diffs Doflamingo.
Heck, EoS Laxus destroys Kaido too.

I agree. But often there is some correlation.

A city busting attack is barely ever not impressive in any anime.

There is a reason Oda pulls out high AOE attacks often when he wants to hype up something

I never saw Fairy Tale as strong as One Oiece characters, they dont have the durability of One Piece imo.

Dont remember much, but physical One Piece are better

If a character can tank a city busting move, that automatically makes him more durable than pretty much every characters in OP except the top tiers.

Jacob is a character who is fodder to Laxus, and he survived an attack from Natsu that vap'd an entire lake.

Which is why I said AoE =/= AP.

Gear 3 can already bust mountains, Odama Rasengan has the power of meteorites, etc.

Logias can affect the weather of islands, Crocodile could send sandstorms kilometers away.

I will need to check how strong is Fairy tale.
