There's more to Sanji than just being a surface level lady lover. I guess the typical One Piece fan will always downplay everything he's done because he has less "badass" moments than his counterpart. He's done a lot for Luffy guys, I don't see why people find fault in that. Luffy has even said he's worth 1,000 men, meaning when it comes to his crew his power cannot easily be replaced.
