Canon Link either scales to characters with star level feats or straight universe level. ALttP Link scales to Ganondorf who warped the entire Sacred Realm - a parallel universe - into the Dark World due to the full Triforce. The power of the Triforce also stabilizes the universe as well.
Many versions of Link can solo One Piece, let alone Kaido.

Edit: But I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt so you can actually explain why Kaido apparently stomps. You also have to explain how Kaido beats a character who scales to other characters capable of creating realms containing a sun, moving the entire moon, making permanent night on the planet or containing the power holding the universe at balance. If not, then you realise why Steven called you a clown? Because you randomly post low quality posts with no value at all.

Link is much more powerful in-lore. There are at least a few star level feats (antagonist creates a pocket dimension containing a sun) and even one or two universe level ones. Those feats are not in BotW but in other Zelda games though.
BotW Link is one of the weaker versions but even he scales to Calamity Ganon who should be at least comparable to Wind Waker Ganondorf who managed to make the night completely endless. Also, on the blood moon, Calamity Ganon manipulates the moon and moves it nearer the Earth.
