LinLin as we know has been shown as the the plotting and cunning intel gathering woman... this sets her apart from rest of yonko like Kaido who is more on the crazy side...or shanks the wise man...Blackbeard imo is mix of both linlin and sh
so anyways linlin as we know her is arguably the most selfish and greedy one of the all yonko...even Blackbeard himself.
so with that in mind;
I think that linlin was waiting for the right moment to betray rocks...and in that battle in Death Valley it was the perfect chance !
Her biggest enemies ; Roger, Garp & Rocks + other notable pirates were fighting each other in a death battle...even if some survive they shouldn’t be as strong after.
that and also she had the poneglyphs ...no need to waste time to search for them because they are already there...not to mention treasures and we know how much she love treasure boxes.
enter Kaido !
I think the deal between linlin and kaido was that he joins her if she gives him the fruit...kaido is really young compared to her to the point he calls her hag so he was probably much weaker then her...
she was like;
- I get my enemies killed and weakened
- I get stronger subordinate called kaido
- my babies that have my genes will soon grow up to strong adults
- I get the poneglyphs
