I am noticing a running trend of tiger fans not even attempting to educate themselves on this topic lol.
Trust me bro. The more you look into this matchup, the more obvious it is that lions are far superior to tigers in combat. Far superior. If I ever hear someone claiming tigers are stronger than lions, they immediately lose all credibility.

Your only argument is size and bite force. Bite force is irrelevant when tigers ain’t landing any real bites on the lion. Even in the video @moreha9685 posted, you can see that the tiger can’t get his jaws on the lion whole the lion attacks the tiger with all four of his limbs and his bite simultaneously.
Size is an important advantage but it’s largely irrelevant when one party is a complete scrub in a fight. Tigers can’t fight for shit, they are actual garbage at it. They are good at killing deer and boar but they have absolutely no evolutionary experience fighting and killing larger, more powerful animals. Tigers survive by stealth hunting weak prey.
Lions are born warriors, evolutionarily they have evolved to kill larger predators (lions) as well as giant tanky prey like African Buffalo. And they don’t kill their prey through stealth rushdown, they kill their prey through actual combat. Which is why lions are superb fighters, the best actual fighters out of any breed of cat.
Don’t take my word for it. Go actually educate yourself on how these creatures fight and survive in their environments, then come back to me and explain how a glorified deer killer can take a goddamn 2,000 pound buffalo slayer in combat
