So I was really big on Smoker and Sentomaru (guess they remind me of my favorite DB chafaco, Tenshinhan and Yajirobe). Although Koby was getting fast tracked I still thought they'd be viable Garp parallels because they were older, stronger, and would require a breakthrough to surpass.
And I even liked the red herring thing, thought it was a clever way to sell Koby as these two didn't turn out to be the guy. But they didn't need to lose that fuckin hard. Opp flew in from a different arc for the sole purpose of clapping my boy. After he already lost twice. Not even Yamcha got it like that.

Compared to Yamato, Loki is just that much more interesting.

Can destroy any crew (self made claim but still pretty hype)

Not really true
the fact he hides his true form and persona a huge biscuit knight is part of his personality
the fact that he used that to sneak attack Luffy is also part of his personality
