8. Heart Pirates - Saved the raid(luffy), law needed to be captured
9. BigMom Pirates - King Hype, Marco Hype

2. Ame no Habakiri - Its momos he doesnt have haki to wield it
3. Shusui - Needed to get out of plot so zoro could get strong enough to beat king/scar kaido

Backstories:
1. Ushimaru - We will obviously get more, he was literally introduced during wano and we saw in yamato backstory
2. Toki - Obviously we will get more when void century backstories happens
3. Ryuma - Read Monsters
4. Kaido - We already got massive part of wano being backstories, but i agree we shouldve gotten more

Promises:
1. Zoro, Killing Orochi - It shouldve been hiyori but denjiro was still more likely than zoro
2. Zoro, Killing Kaido - Not strong enough
3. Zoro, Visiting Ryuma - Fair Point
4. Zoro, Leading Samurais - No leadership qualities
5. Franky, creating machines to defeat Kaido - Bruh do you really think the guy who doesnt have haki can create a machine to defeat kaido

Oda set up Kid to fight Kaido in udon, but ultimately had the whole “avenging killer” plotline be useless.
Kid didn’t do anything major to kaido and neither did Killer.

Similarly, Luffy didn’t do anything to big mom despite them having a rivalry since back in fishman island.

Oda should have had Luffy vs Big Mom, while Kid, Killer, Law, and Zoro vs kaido. Then the captains would switch places with Luffy ultimately beating kaido and K/L beating BM.

and then few chapters later make Luffy a joke who gets hard time with fodders (in future surely will happen, just like he was KOed by Apoo)
