Shanks fought Loki to obtain Elbaf and Yonko status after he went back to sea from Dawn Island after saving Luffy.

The sea serpent bit his arm off, and then he conquered it, making room for Luffy to continue to grow and providing a mark to test his strength against Shanks. Then Luffy came along and beat it down himself. Foreshadowed world serpent Loki from the beginning. Same exact time frame also. Shanks headed out 6 years before Luffy did, and now Shanks beat Loki 6 years before Luffy arrived.

Nah, Fenrir most likely. We've seen wolves before Loki, and now a giant wolf came to his rescue, hinting that Loki might be the alpha wolf, aka fenris.

Loki is a mix of Thor,Tyr and Loki, Oda mixed the most important gods and made Loki with it.

Fenrir as df would not have any symbole as sun god, not even relative to sun god.
Loki df must have something to with sun god, with fire power(who got teased in Big Mom flashback) or something like that.

I think narratively this works perfectly to set up Shanks as an opponent. Precisely 6 years ahead, he is beating the exact opponents Luffy faces in the current timeline. Oda is mirroring the intro to the series in order to reestablish Shanks in the story with the proper contextual relationship to Luffy before he appears. He did not have to line these times up, Loki could have been defeated by Shanks however long ago Oda wanted, but he chose the same timeframe.
Luffy may be the same by title, but Shanks is 6 years ahead.

Furthermore, given that he left to go pursue the One Piece, this means that Shanks is now prepared for the time Roger spoke of and no longer believes they are too early, since the one foretold that Roger was too early for is coming right behind him, spurred on by the dream Shanks groomed him to pursue.

Shanks is really a mastermind pulling Luffy/Nika behind him like a tugboat to the end goal.

OH GOD.

In fact, Shanks is going to go get the treasure. One Piece will be gone and Raftel already explored by Shanks when Strawhats arrive. Luffy will laugh and pursue him to wherever he chooses to go….

Sun god is a title, it is completely unrelated to the person’s powers

If you would read the set up you would know this theory is not based just by one chapter.
Linlin flashback, the meaning behind sun god, it clear as day the power Loki will has will have something to do with fire.
Doubt Fenrir df would fit into it.

Another thing. The wolf is loling its tongue in the same manner as Loki. That could also be a clue.
