The thing is, until now mythical zoans have always been based on eastern mythology. Even Marco's. With Nika as the only exception.
So if Oda decide to go trough the same route, i guess Loki's fruit would be based on eastern myth as well.
Still, he could break the pattern by adopting western mythology tho. I think it would be cool.
