Powers & Abilities Loki proably doesn't have CoC or ACoC

#21
Loki having CoC or ACoC would break his character.

The dynamic between Hajrudin and Loki is as follows:
  • Loki inherited the ancient giants' physique. He is as big as Oars and hence can wield Ragnir. He also took his father's DF.
  • Hajrudin is a runt and a bastard. He has no DF. Yet despite this he has immense willpower and a noble dream.

Hajrudin, as the underdog, will inevitably be given something that Loki lacks in order for Hajrudin to ultimately achieve his dream in uniting the giants under his rule. In one piece, haki typically serves as the plot device for underdog characters to rise up.

Koby is a haki specialist, whereas most of the admirals are not.
Luffy and Shanks are haki specialists, whereas Teach is not
Zoro had ACoC, whereas King relied on his special race powers

While Oda does somewhat try to make us sympathetic to Loki, with him likely being victimized by the CDs. It is ultimately Hajrudin that we should root for the most. Hajrudin is effectively a straw hat, being a commander in the grand fleet. It is Hajrudin who is the underdog, whereas Loki was just gifted everything since birth.

Ultimately, I think it makes the most sense for Hajrudin to be revealed as a conqueror in the Elbaf arc. Whereas Loki explicitly is shown not to have this power. This would lead to Hajrudin being recognized as the legitimate King of Elbaf. He can then return in the final war as an ACoC user and fight a holy knight. Oda could also have him face Loki if Loki ultimately allies with Teach to get revenge on Shanks.
Loki has
-CoC
-CoC coating
-observation killing

You don’t know enough about Loki for you to say that but he 100% has CoC

I'd be surprised if he didn't. He has all the features of Katakuri + some.

Lol how did that argument work out for Perospero

Actually no

Katakuri was well liked and respected by his people. Loki isn’t. His only friends are animals and some guy he’s never met before.

Loki is strong, but most of his strength comes from shit that was gifted to him. His genes and weapon. Then later a legendary DF.

That shit is irrelevant, you're just inserting Loki in a position he never claimed to want. This happens a lot in this fanbase. :risistare:
The manga is comparing Loki and Hajrudin. Loki was born with everything. Hajrudin was a runt and a bastard.

Yet Hajrudin is the grand fleet commander and the one with the noble dream. Logic dictates Hajrudin should eventually surpass his asshole brother.

How does that always work out in this manga? Via haki.

At this point he has other qualities that surpass CoC. Ragnir seems busted as shit, it’s a weapon that few can wield, and we have yet to see his legendary DF
Loki fans want him to be a yonko or a god tier, but he’s not portrayed to be either of these things.

Dude is Hajrudin’s brother. His main conflict isn’t even with Luffy. Luffy literally wanted to save him. His conflict is with Hajrudin.

Do y’all think Hajrudin is going to surpass a yonko? Probably not. Which is why Loki will be a DF/race merchant with mediocre haki by top tier standards.

Loki is basically the giant version of Zoro , ain’t no way he lacks coc
Y’all need to realize characters are given powers based off plot.

Luffy, Kid, and Law had awakening
Kaido, BM, and the calamities did not.

Loki is already stacked. He is an ancient giant, has a legendary DF, and a legendary weapon. There’s only so strong a character can be. Loki isn’t the arc villain. He’s not a main player for one piece.

Why should he have CoC when even the admirals don’t? Loki having CoC takes away the one area where Hajrudin could possibly surpass him.

Hajrudin is the worst designed giant in the manga, and a fodder that got beat by regular gear 2 punch. He was even about to attack a 90% dead Loki this chapter. He doesn't deserve to lead the giants.

Another very bad take imho.

Loki is the best of the strongest nation in the world (> Wano), is the opponent of a far stronger person than twenty years ago Kaido, has a legendary fruit, has a presence than even Luffy feels intensely and has a better weapon (in his first, casual showing Ragnir showed one of the best AoE we have ever seen).

Loki is clearly built to be at that level.

Admirals do, anyway.

He has other brothers, one of whom was in fact a mere Yonko

If Teach isn't Haki specialist, without a DF how did he wound Shanks?

Shanks has better Haki level plus special sword, that doesn't mean Teach can't be Haki specialist as well.

EoS Hajrudin should be stronger

Why?

Loki is an asshole and an evil person. He might be the victim of some CD plot, which forced him to kill Harald. But him being evil is undeniable.

He’s not the giant you should be rooting for.
Why would Harjrudin surpass him? He doesnt want to be the strongest giant, just unite all of them. Hajrudin is probably weaker then Dorry and Broggy as well

That's like saying EoS Katakuri > BM or EoS Weevil > WB
It’s a lot more reasonable if you simply lower your expectations for how strong Loki actually is.

Wouldn’t becoming giant king necessitate that Hajrudin get Dorry, Brogy, and Loki all to bow to him?
